PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:
all of these people booked me through Shoott, yayyyyy
each shoot was 25ish minutes (oh wow christina, that’s amazing, some of these galleries have 150+ photos!!!)
I have to submit EDITED galleries within 2 days after each session. Sometimes I have six sessions in one day, so keep that in mind if some of the pics/edits are stinkers.
I’m usually told by the people to include as many pics as possible, hence the duplicate/similar images. it’s so they can pick their faves
I’m only allowed to do minimal edits
No hair removal, sweat stain removal, skin touch ups, wrinkled shirts, stuff like that. obviously can do that but they have to pay more for it through Shoott, and it’s hella expensive
some of them wanted specific poses that honestly looked bad lol
SOME PEOPLE DON’T LISTEN TO DIRECTION. at all. also I wear a mask during every shoot, so communication is difficult.
most people don’t know their angles and describe themselves as awkward before we start shooting
some people show up in CLASHING OUTFITS. it’s horrible. they look like crap together. but that’s because no one coordinated their clothes (their fault, not mine)
DEAR GOD. some of these shoots were booked at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, etc. in horrible conditions (rain, 110 degree heat) and i just had to roll with it fml
every single child you see had a mental breakdown during the shoot.
also most men were treating their wives like trash and looked like they were dragged to the shoots :)
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
I met every single person 1 minute before I started taking pictures. these are strangers.
I can’t tell them they look bad ever, or that we should wait 20 minutes until the sun gets less harsh. we gotta shoot no matter what
I HAVE ZERO CREATIVE CONTROL IN LITERALLY ALL OF THESE
BUT we’re collabing on your shoot, you’re my bff, you know your angles, and I can be honest with you if something looks bad.
we also have a week and not 25 minutes to take the pics :’)
